OCIC’s first Holiday Marketplace & Celebration!
December 8, 2018
The holiday season is fast approaching, bringing many opportunities for good cheer, meaningful conversation, and time to connect with friends and family. Kick-start the action at OCIC’s Holiday Pop-up Marketplace — home to ethically produced and fair-trade gifts, free activities for children and youth to learn about social issues, and time for you to connect with prominent social activists, gender equality warriors, and feminist movement makers.
Bring your children, friends and neighbours for an afternoon visit to the beautiful and accessible Centre for Social Innovation event space, in the heart of the city. Be a part of the action, and shop at our pop-up Marketplace for unique holiday gifts from African Bronze Honey Company, A Million Elephants, Ark Imports, Dandarah, Mamaa Trade, Progoti, Tibetan Paper & Handicrafts, and more!
In the evening, join us in your holiday best for a celebration with live entertainment, appetizers, drinks, door prizes and holiday cheer! Evening celebration ticket sales will help to support OCIC’s ongoing efforts to bring diverse youth from across Ontario into the heart of our collective work for universal sustainable development.
