The Position

Working collaboratively with the Implementation and Compliance Teams you will be responsible to provide support to the Senior Compliance Managers (SCM) and Compliance Managers (CM) by managing smaller grants and providing support to larger complex grants

We are looking for a candidate that has experience with grant financials; someone who is able to support a number of initiatives and multi-task. Our successful candidate will be experienced in financial analysis and management.  Strong communications skills, ability to multi-task and proficiency in excel are critical factors for success.

What does success looks like?
This section should very specifically talk to the objectives/outcomes of the role

  • Support Compliance Managers and Country Office teams in project forecasting and reporting
  • Support Compliance Manager in project financial analysis
  • Ability to clearly communicate donor contractual requirements to a variety of audiences
  • Manage information on Plan systems and assist with data entry and reporting

As our ideal candidate you will have

  • An aptitude for financial management
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and relationship management skills
  • A proven track record working for International NGOs in the area of finance or program financials
  • A process oriented working style, with the ability to be flexible and adaptable –strong organization skills and the ability multi-task effectively are essential
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and internet use
  • French is a strong asset
